Gosford played a very strong Wyong team at Breakers on the weekend. We had a few players unavailable in A grade and after a late withdrawal I want to thank Michael Connors who answered a late call and played number 2 and was very competitive against a scratch marker from Wyong. Our young gun Conor O’Callaghan also stood up and played Wyong’s number 1. Conor was 1 up going into the back nine and gave his opponent a real scare. A grade lost the match 5/1 but with 3 matches to go are still in with a chance to win the pennant.
Our B grade was again strong and won 3/1 and remain undefeated. C grade lost 3/1 but remain in contention with 4 games to go.
Next week its off to the Mountain for a game against Kooindah Waters.
Our Juniors are also going really well and had their second win of the year 5/1.
