The Board of Directors of the Gosford Golf Club

scheduled an

Annual General Meeting (AGM) 

on

Tuesday September 20th, 2022 at 7pm

The meeting will be held in the Clubhouse

In line with the constitution of Gosford Golf Club 20.5 (h)

 

A copy of The Financial Statement will be available from the office and on the Mi-Club website after Monday 5th September 2022.

  3. To confirm Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday 9th November 2021
  4. Presidents Report
  5. To consider the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement and the report of the Auditors*
  6. To declare the results of the election of the Board for the ensuing year with the Returning Officer*
  7. To appoint the Club Patrons for the ensuing year. (Board recommendations are: Bert Jordan, Duncan Dyer & Peter Davidson) Article 13
  8. To deal with any business of which due notice has been given. Article 20.5 (h)

Under 15.6 Voting Procedure

To replace Part (iv) which currently reads. “The voting paper or papers shall contain in alphabetical order the names of all duly nominated candidates for the respective positions and shall be distributed at the meeting to those Members attending and entitled to vote thereat one paper to each with the following such member.”…

Proposed: “The voting paper or papers shall contain in alphabetical order the names of the duly nominated candidates for the respective positions.

Under 15.6 Voting Procedure

To replace Part (v) which currently reads. “The voter shall mark his/her voting paper by making a cross opposite the name of each candidate for whom he/she votes.” … with the following

Proposed: “The voter shall mark his/her voting paper by making a tick or a cross, no numbers, opposite the name of each candidate for whom he/she wishes to vote for”

Under 11.1 Disciplinary Proceedings

For Discussion on the floor:

Proposed: Change to article 11.1 in the constitution of Gosford Golf Club so that a member cannot be suspended from the club until after a disciplinary hearing has been held and a member is found guilty.

Proposed: To include on the club’s website Terms of Play or Conditions of Play and general information relating to play similar to what has previously been published in the Annual Events Programme.

Proposed: Include on the club’s website the Ladies Section Condition of Play
