Agenda

1. Motion One – General Premise

Article 15.4 – That the Members resolve to amend the constitution to provide that the Vice President position become a Board-appointed role, rather than an elected one. The amendment is to be added after the first paragraph.

Amendment – The position of Vice President shall be appointed by the Board of Directors.

The amendment will take effect from the commencement of the 2026 Board term and will apply to all subsequent elections and appointments for the Vice President role.

2. Motion Two – Paragraph 15.4 (b)

The removal of ‘and the Vice President’ from the sentence in Article15.4 (b): Captain and Vice President for a two-year term initially; and 

Vote to adopt for inclusion in Constitution

3. Motion Three – Paragraph 15.6 (c)

Change the wording to the following Article 15.6 (c)

Thirdly:                 Treasurer                                             

Fourthly:             Ordinary Board member

Vote to adopt for inclusion in Constitution

4. Motion Four – Paragraph 11.2 Procedure
5. A member has the right to appeal any penalty, suspension or expulsion imposed for disciplinary matters by requesting such to the Secretary within 14 days of receiving notification of a disciplinary hearing.
6. A fee shall be charged upon submission of an appeal against a decision made by the Disciplinary Panel.

• This fee will be fully refunded if the appeal is successful, and the original decision is overturned

5. Information Session

• The Board is seeking to determine the value of the owned site through a tender/EOI.
• Update on the Council Works
