Timesheets will continue to open 48 hours in advance at 6:15PM online until restrictions ease. This is scheduled below:
This structure allows us to continue trading with minimal disruption should restrictions change. Members please be aware that should restrictions ease at any point, we will delete these timesheets and restructure them as 3Ball/4Ball/ whatever we can achieve within the guidelines and Open the deleted sheets at 6:15PM on the day that restrictions change.
For example if the premier eases restrictions and allows congregations of 4 people outside on Saturday at her 11AM briefing, then the timesheets for Sunday & Monday will be deleted, amended to 4 Ball timesheets and will open online at 6:15PM on that day.
While we understand this may put some members out with having to rebook, we are trying our best to keep within the restrictions/easing of and facilitate the needs of the entire membership. We appreciate your understanding at this time.
During Covid restrictions staff will sound the siren ONCE on course to suspend play, please remain on the hole you are playing. Take shelter if you can from adverse weather conditions while staying close to your position on the hole and avoid congregating in bigger groups. Staff will re-sound the siren whenever play can resume (general rule, minimum is around 20 minutes)
Should it become too dangerous to be on the golf course (lightning), staff will sound the siren TWICE to let players know to evacuate the golf course. In this instance please go directly to the car park to your car to avoid congregations. Staff will then let all players know when the course is open again.
We understand given adverse weather this is a difficult situation, though please abide by our covid safe plan at all times.
Divots & Sand Buckets
While we appreciate that under Covid restrictions not every member has had the opportunity to take a bucket home and use it to fill divots when at the course. We implore you to bring an empty bottle if you do not have a bucket. Please fill up your bottle with sand before your round and fill divots while out on course.
Given the increased and concentrated traffic on our course, along with the inclement weather of late, the course is once again ‘doing it tough’. All members can help with the condition of the course by following a few simple rules when on the golf course.
- Walk on and off tees at separate points
- Take the long way round the green (not walking over the bunker lips)
- Fill and repair divots
- Repair all pitch marks
- Stand on the grassy part of the tees and not the wear marks
With the volume of rounds that golf now achieves, the biggest difference which can can be made on a golf course is around the traffic and player behavior. We ask that you take that extra two seconds to think about your decisions on where you stand, how you get from point a to point b and walking past those divots or pitch marks. If we had 70,000 green staff you sure would see a different golf course out there.
Thank you for your cooperation.
No Shows
While we understand that in todays climate, things can change very quickly, we would appreciate that given the reduced tee times and spots on our golf course that all members have the courtesy to call up, email, or login and cancel their bookings. We have fielded multiple complaints from members who cant achieve a spot on the timesheets, only to witness other members not showing up for premium tee times.
Cancelling on the day is not a problem, like we said before we understand that peoples lives are busy and things change, especially now. However we will be adopting a strict no nonsense approach here.
Should a member not turn up for their tee time and if they haven’t cancelled before, they will be charged the full comp fee of $20 to their account and their rights will be taken away to book onto timesheets without calling the proshop.
