COVID SAFE PLAN (UPDATED 11th OCTOBER 2021)

GOSFORD GOLF CLUB is committed to ensuring the health and safety of members and guests. We place the highest priority on making sure all activities are carried out safely and reasonable measures are taken to remove (or reduce if they can’t be eliminated) risks to the health and safety of members and guests. For the wellbeing of our members and staff, we ask you to consider our modified conditions of entry. Any breaches of these conditions may result in you being asked to leave the venue.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

  • ALL persons entering Gosford Golf Club, Pro Shop & Course:
  • MUST check in using the Service NSW app
  • MUST not be displaying any cold or flu like symptoms
  • MUST not enter if you should be self-isolating for reasons such as travel, having COVID 19, waiting for a COVID 19 test result, be living with someone who should be self-isolating,
  • Bookings must be made online or by phoning the Pro Shop. Strictly NO ‘walk-in’ bookings
  • Should you contract Covid 19 and be deemed infectious while visiting Gosford Golf Club, you MUST inform us as soon as possible for us to contact all patrons on the day and follow advice from NSW Health regarding deemed contacts around your visit.

THE FOLLWING NSW GOVERNMENT RULES & RESTRICTIONS WILL APPLY WHEN VISITING THE CLUBHOUSE OR PROSHOP

 

  • All patrons (16 years old & above) MUST be fully vaccinated (2 doses)or have approved medical exemption and be able to present the official documentation at entry.
  • Please assist staff by having either your digital or paper certificate available when entering the club.
  • Members who are ticked in our golfing system already do not need to show further vaccination proof
  • Patrons under 16 years of age must be with a member of their household that is fully vaccinated.
  • All patrons (12 years & above) MUST wear masks inside the venue except when eating or drinking
  • Consumption of alcohol while standing is NOT permitted inside

 

Area capacity limits of one (1) person per four (4) square metres apply for indoor areas and one (1) person per two (2) square metres apply for outdoor areas.

ON THE GOLF COURSE:

  • Preferred lies through the green
  • Preferred lies in the bunkers
  • No rakes in Bunkers
  • Flags are to be left in the hole
  • No water on course (bubblers)
  • Mark your own scorecard
  • Take a bucket home with you or use your own empty bottle
  • Fully vaccinated players can share carts
  • Comp players submit scores through the app or place in the box provided with the Covid marshal.

AFTER YOUR GAME

  • Please submit your score through the APP or leave your scorecard in the box at the Proshop or scan and leave in the box at the members KIOSKS upstairs in the clubhouse
  • Any members using the scorecard KIOSKS in the clubhouse must be double vaccinated to enter and meet our conditions of entry above
  • If using toilet facilities at the club, masks MUST be worn inside

GOLF SHOP

  • Fully Vaccinated patrons ONLY will be allowed to enter the Proshop
  • Unvaccinated patrons must continue to use the KIOSK window
  • Masks MUST be worn inside the proshop
  • Should you require assistance or to browse our stock on hand please see our dedicated staff and we will assist you in a Covid safe way.
