Carts will be ON the front nine holes from tomorrow, Tuesday 3rd May for members and comp players. Green staff have marked a dotted white line on all holes on the front nine and players are asked to follow the white line at ALL TIMES and play by the local rules below:
LOCAL RULES IN EFFECT
· Preferred lies (1 Club length) near any white lines marking the cart paths
· Preferred lies through the green (30cm)
· All carts to keep white line in middle of the cart when driving
· Cart players must walk to their ball from the white line up each hole
· Carts ON for front nine only at this stage
We will be running a 9 hole comp in conjunction with daily events for golfers who cant walk the course. Players will also have the option of carting for nine holes and then walking the back nine to play 18 holes comp.
We ask that all players stick to the white lines at all times. Green staff will repair any low areas and any damage caused by having the carts back out on course. Any damage done on the routes chosen will be superficial and easily fixed up.
We hope to welcome back many of our membership who haven’t been able to play for some time.
The back nine holes will be assessed later this week/start of next week and hopefully we can get back to some normality.
