The Board of Directors of the Gosford Golf Club has approved the following changes to the By-Laws pertaining to:                      Articles 4.6 and Article 4.7

Article 4.6 Planning Committee

Change to Header: (Incorporating Technology Sub-Committee) to (Incorporating Grants Sub-Committee)

 

Article 4.7 House & Facilities Committee

Add to header: (Incorporating WH&S Sub-Committee)

 

In addition the Board has approved the following changes to Appendix 3 Ladies Conditions of Play

 

4      HANDICAP APPLICATION  

 4.1  Single Stroke, Par and Stableford:  Full  

 4.2  4BBB, Stroke, Par and Stableford:  Full  

 4.3  Canadian and American Foursomes          3/8 combined  

 4.4  Foursomes:  (see Rule 23.3)                                     1/2 combined  

 4.5  3-Ball Ambrose                                                1/6 combined  

  • 4-Ball Ambrose 1/8 combined  

 

12    NEAREST-THE-PIN COMPETITIONS   

  

12.1     Will run for all single competitions i.e., Stroke, Stableford and Par rounds,   

12.2     A NTP competition will run all 4 par 3s’ on both Tuesdays and Thursdays.  

12.3     Nearest the pins will be competed for:

               Stableford and Par rounds

  • Tuesday competition:                            
  • Division I  5th and 12th hole
  • Division II  8th and 14th hole

12.3.2     Thursday competition:      Over the field 8th hole Stroke Rounds

 

  • Tuesday & Thursday competitions:
    • Division I 5th and 12th hole
    • Divisions II & III 8th and 14th hole                                     

 12.4    No NTP competitions will run during Ambrose events or Shotgun starts except Open Days and Invitation Days.   

 12.5   These conditions are subject to alteration at the discretion of the Ladies Section Match                                                 Committee.

23     FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIPS 

 

23.1      This event is held in two handicap divisions, which are determined by the number of entrants and their          handicaps.  

23.2      The event is to be  played on one Tuesday, 27 holes for Division I and 18 holes for Division II.  

23.3      Division I – Handicaps will be ½ of the combined team handicap for the 18 holes and ¼ of the combined team           handicap for the second 9 holes.
