From Club Captain Bob Thomas:
I was on my way to Everglades on Sunday when I received a call form Eddie Rogers who had slipped his back and was unable to play. It was an hour before hit off and I rang Tony Callaghan who put down his Sunday crossword and hightailed it to Everglades Country Club. Tony arrived in time to lead the team off and square his match. Well done Clags and hopefully a speedy recovery for Eddie.
We had another good win 5 ½ to 2 ½ with Michael Sissons holing his 2nd shot on a par four to record an eagle 2. Well done Michael.
We travel to Kooindah Waters next week and although half our team will be off to Queensland for the annual golf trip I am sure we have the depth to win again.
