{"id":694,"date":"2021-09-01T11:32:52","date_gmt":"2021-09-01T11:32:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gosford.miclub.com.au\/cms\/?p=694"},"modified":"2023-06-20T06:16:29","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:16:29","slug":"gazetted-changes-august-board-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gosford.miclub.com.au\/cms\/gazetted-changes-august-board-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Gazetted changes August Board Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Gazette September 1<sup>st<\/sup> ,2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Board of Director of the Gosford Golf Club have approved the re-writing of and insertions to the following Articles of the By-Laws<\/p>\n<p><strong>Changes to Article 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2.10\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All directors will have access to parking position near the Clubhouse and a reserved time space on competition sheets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Changes to Article 4 sub-article 4.8<\/strong><strong> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4.8\u00a0 Insertion of\u00a0 \u201cNote; Appendix 3 Ladies Competitions and Conditions of Play &#8211; Appendix 4 Ladies\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Section Rules of Operation\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Changes to Article 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Vice President<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The Vice-President shall lend support to the President in providing leadership to the club overall, including the appointment of directors to committees and sections and overseeing the performance of the club<\/li>\n<li>The Vice-President shall assume the position of the President in his\/her absence and will be deemed the successor if the position becomes vacant within the term,<\/li>\n<li>The Vice-President shall chair Board meetings in the absence of the President,<\/li>\n<li>The Vice-President hall become the ex-Officeo member of any standing committee in the absence of the President,<\/li>\n<li>The Vice-President shall be instrumental in the continual development of a strategic plan and ensure a strong governance program,<\/li>\n<li>He\/She will be a point of contact for those interested in the club<\/li>\n<li>He\/She will have a special parking position near the Clubhouse and a reserved time space on competition sheets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Changes to Sub-Paragraph 6.1 Re-numbering<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6.1.2 The Captain \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6.1.3 The Captain<\/p>\n<p>6.1.3 The Treasurer\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6.1.4 The Treasurer<\/p>\n<p>6.1.4 The General Manager \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6.1.5 The General Manager<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Changes to Article 7 &#8211; Insertion of Sub-paragraph 7.1.27<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>7.1.27\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A member who has an illness or injury preventing them from playing may apply for this temporary membership.
